iQSports Weekly Development Update

Platform stability, usability improvements, content updates, and preparation for the next phase of the iQSports football analytics platform.

As we continue preparing iQSports for the next phase of growth, our focus remains on delivering the most comprehensive high school football analytics software platform available to coaches, coordinators, and athletic programs.

This week centered on platform stability, usability improvements, content updates, and preparation for our upcoming .NET 10 infrastructure upgrade. Several user-reported issues were resolved, while additional enhancements were made to improve the overall experience for coaches, statisticians, and administrators who rely on iQSports for live football play tracking, football coaching analytics, and day-to-day program management.

Platform Migration complete

Preparing for .NET 10

One of the largest initiatives this week was the successful migration of iQSports to .NET 10. The upgrade itself was completed successfully, and the focus now shifts to comprehensive validation across the platform.

Framework upgrades can introduce subtle behavioral changes that are not always apparent during development, so broad testing has begun across all major workflows. This effort will continue over the coming weeks as we monitor for unexpected behavior and ensure existing functionality remains stable under the new runtime.

Homepage Refresh and Content Updates

We completed updates to the iQSports homepage, including new customer testimonial content, updated messaging to better communicate platform value, and recognition of Calhoun City's championship-winning season.

These changes help showcase recent success stories from partner schools while keeping the public-facing website current, informative, and engaging.

03
Administration Resolved

Settings Management Restored

A previously reported issue preventing administrators from editing settings was investigated and resolved. After testing multiple configuration changes, including color adjustments and play-distance settings, the team confirmed that settings modifications are once again functioning normally.

This fix restores a critical administrative capability and ensures schools can continue customizing their environments without interruption.

04
Playbook Resolved

Playbook Improvements

Several improvements were made within the Playbook module based directly on user feedback. Users reported situations where accidentally creating duplicate plays could not be corrected because delete functionality was failing.

The issue was identified and corrected, restoring the ability to properly remove unwanted plays from game records and playbooks. This helps maintain cleaner data and reduces frustration when correcting entry mistakes.

05
Game entry Improved

Player Selection and Search

The player-selection experience was refined to better surface relevant players based on game context. This reduces clutter, makes large rosters easier to navigate, and improves speed during live football play tracking.

  • Faster player assignment
  • Reduced scrolling
  • Improved visibility of eligible players
  • Better usability for larger rosters

We also improved player search logic so locating athletes by jersey number is more consistent, making game entry and stat correction workflows faster and more reliable.

06
Platform Ongoing

Continuous Quality Improvements

In addition to the larger feature work, several tickets focused on improving overall platform quality and usability. These smaller refinements are often the changes users notice most during day-to-day operation and help ensure the platform remains dependable throughout the season.

Our development process continues to prioritize user-reported feedback, real-world workflow improvements, platform reliability, performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.

Looking Ahead

With the .NET 10 migration complete and core usability improvements delivered this week, our focus now turns toward expanded testing, continued refinement of the Playbook experience, and identifying any edge cases introduced by the framework upgrade.

We remain committed to helping coaches gain more value from their data through powerful football coaching analytics tools, intuitive reporting, and streamlined workflows that support game planning, scouting, and player development.

We appreciate the feedback from coaches, statisticians, and administrators who continue helping us improve the platform through their daily use of iQSports.

Stay tuned for additional updates as we continue enhancing the tools that power game management, football game planning software, statistics, reporting, and athletic program operations across our partner schools.
